Kay’s Sausage Balls
Yield: 48 balls.

- 1 pound sausage
- 1 8-ounce can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- Louisiana hot sauce to taste
- 2 8-count cans Texas-size biscuits (or Grands biscuits)
Mix sausage, water chestnuts and hot sauce.
Form into ¾-inch balls.
Broil and cool.
Cut each canned biscuits into thirds.
Wrap each ball with a third of a biscuit; seal.
Bake until brown at the temperature recommended for the canned biscuits.
