  • 1 24.5-ounce can sliced peaches in light syrup drain and chop peaches into bite-size pieces
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick (½ cup) butter cut into 16 equal pieces
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts


  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Layer ingredients into a 9x13-inch baking dish beginning with peaches.
  • Add each ingredient in the order listed. (Cake mix is just poured on top of peaches straight from box.)
  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping.
