White Chocolate Bread Pudding

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 loaf French bread sliced thin or cubed
  • 2 12-ounce bags white chocolate chips, divided
  • 3 pints heavy whipping cream divided
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Melt butter in an 11x13-inch baking dish.
  • Layer bread in dish.
  • Place in oven to lightly toast bread, about 10 minutes.
  • While bread toasts, cook 1 bag chocolate, 21⁄2 pints whipping cream, sugar, eggs and vanilla over medium heat until chocolate is melted and everything is fully incorporated.
  • Pour over toasted bread; bake, uncovered, 45 minutes.
  • Melt remaining bag of chocolate with 1⁄2 pint whipping cream; pour over baked bread pudding and serve.
