White Chocolate Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 loaf French bread sliced thin or cubed
- 2 12-ounce bags white chocolate chips, divided
- 3 pints heavy whipping cream divided
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Melt butter in an 11x13-inch baking dish.
- Layer bread in dish.
- Place in oven to lightly toast bread, about 10 minutes.
- While bread toasts, cook 1 bag chocolate, 21⁄2 pints whipping cream, sugar, eggs and vanilla over medium heat until chocolate is melted and everything is fully incorporated.
- Pour over toasted bread; bake, uncovered, 45 minutes.
- Melt remaining bag of chocolate with 1⁄2 pint whipping cream; pour over baked bread pudding and serve.
