Uncle Booger’s Pecan Pie

  • 1⁄2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup clear corn syrup
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 deep pie shell or 2 regular pie shells


  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Combine butter and sugar.
  • Add corn syrup, eggs, pecans and vanilla.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour in pie shell and bake 35 minutes or until set.
  • Let it cool and (if you can wait) before you slice and serve.
