Owner/operators Judy and Chrystal, a mother/daughter duo working together since 1996, opened their Whitney location in 2009 which later became Texas Great Country Café and Pie Pantry. From the moment you walk in, it’s easy to see they are all about Texas, doing their best to satisfy whatever hankerin’ you might have with great food, including hand-breaded chicken-fried steak, hearty breakfasts served all day, plenty of tasty salads and “sammiches,” plus a variety of homemade pies, cheesecakes, and cakes made daily in the in-house bakery. The down-home music, comfy surroundings, and true hospitality make the perfect setting for enjoying family and friends.

Monday – Saturday: 7:00 am to 9:00 pm
Sunday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
