Sausage Balls

  • 1 8-ounce block medium or sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 pound medium or hot ground pork sausage
  • 2 cups Bisquick


  • Cut cheese into cubes. Place in a microwavable bowl. Add 2 tablespoons milk and microwave until melted, adding an additional tablespoon milk if needed. Remove from microwave and add uncooked sausage to cheese; mix together. Gradually add Bisquick, mixing well. Roll mixture into balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Can be frozen before baking. Yields about 5 dozen.
