Ray’s Diner

Ray’s Diner
231 East Broadway Street
Excelsior Springs, MO 64024

Ray’s Diner, the oldest diner in Clay County, was established in 1932, seating ten people. It moved across the street in 1942, but still uses the original ten barstools, original grill, cash register, original hamburger press, and the same chili recipe. Come and admire one of the biggest Pepsi collections ever created. They were picked as the December Restaurant in Missouri Rural Magazine. The customers love to read about and reminisce about the businesses from 1957, through articles that are preserved on the counter. Brenda says, “We look forward to you coming and seeing us.”
