Peggy’s on the Bayou Cajun Café
2682 East Roundbunch Road
Orange, TX 77630
Peggy’s on the Bayou Cajun Café officially opened June 2009 but has a long past. Peggy’s husband of 45 years, Richard Albair, opened the seafood market in 1990, growing the business steadily. Over the years, they have survived hardships, including three hurricanes. After Hurricane Harvey, they have continued to serve as a takeout window offering delivery. Today, Peggy’s is well known for their eight-ounce burgers served on sweet sourdough, white, or jalapeño bread. Local favorites include seafood gumbo and boiled crawfish. Don’t miss the pistolettes stuffed with seafood and Cajun nacho sauce. Peggy’s also offers painting classes and a game room.
