  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 stick butter melted and cooled
  • 2 cups white corn syrup use a 16-ounce bottle to eliminate the need to measure
  • Pinch salt
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 ½ to 3 cups pecans that have been cut in ½
  • 2 pie shells uncooked


  • Southern Pecan Pie Recipe Beat eggs; add sugar and flour. Add butter, corn syrup, salt, vanilla and almond extract; mix well. Stir in pecans and fill 2 uncooked pie shells. Bake pecan pie in preheated oven at 350° about 1 hour.
