Old-Fashioned Sour Cream Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups softened butter do not substitute
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups flour sifted
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and sour cream. Combine flour and baking soda; gradually add to butter mixture. Beat until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan 1 hour and 10 minutes.
