Bottom Layer:

  • 2 sticks margarine softened
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Top Layer:

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 7 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


Combine all ingredients. Press into 9×12-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

    Combine all ingredients. Pour over bottom layer. Return to oven and bake 20 minutes more. Bars will remain gooey in the center. Remove from oven and sprinkle Lemon Bars with powdered sugar.
