Lemon Angel Bars

Ingredients

CAKE:

  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 1 15.75-ounce can lemon pie filling

FROSTING:

  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 3 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 1 1 pound box of powered sugar
  • milk to moisten

Instructions

CAKE:

  • Stir together dry cake mix and lemon pie filling.
  • Pour into ungreased 9x13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until top springs back when touched.
  • Cool thoroughly.

FROSTING:

  • Cream together butter and cream cheese until fluffy.
  • Gradually mix in powdered sugar until well blended.
  • Add a small amount of milk to desired consistency.
  • Frosting should be stiff but spreadable.
  • Spread on cooled bars.
