  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 8-ounce can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • Louisiana hot sauce to taste
  • 2 8-count cans Texas-size biscuits (or Grands biscuits)


  • Mix sausage, water chestnuts and hot sauce.
  • Form into ¾-inch balls.
  • Broil and cool.
  • Cut each canned biscuits into thirds.
  • Wrap each ball with a third of a biscuit; seal.
  • Bake until brown at the temperature recommended for the canned biscuits.
