Jarosch Bakery is a third-generation family-owned scratch bakery nestled in Elk Grove Village, a northwestern suburb of Chicago. From beautifully decorated cakes to decadent donuts, the Jaroschs have crafted high quality breads and desserts for nearly 60 years. The bakery can trace its roots all the way back to Giessmannsdorf, Germany where its founder, George Jarosch, began his baking career. George and his family emigrated to Chicago where his son Herb worked in a couple bakeries and even served in the Korean War as a baker before the father and son team opened Jarosch Bakery in October 1959. Over the years, as the business grew, the bakery experienced several production area expansions. In 1989, Ken Jarosch, Herb’s son, and his wife Kathy joined the bakery. Today they continue to ensure Jarosch Bakery provides Northwest Chicagoland with freshly made custom cakes, breads, pastries, cookies, donuts, and coffeecakes.
