Hungarian Goulash
Ingredients
- 1 pound beef stew meat
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 medium onions sliced
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 bouillon cubes
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 cups diced potatoes
Instructions
- Cut meat into 1-inch cubes and brown in skillet, adding a bit of oil if needed. Add garlic, onions, paprika, salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and add to mixture. Cover and simmer 21⁄2 hours. Add hot water and potatoes. Cook 20 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
