  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seed
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 packages 7½-ounce each small party rolls
  • 8 ounces boiled ham chopped
  • 6 ounces shredded Swiss or Cheddar cheese


  • Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add mustard, poppy seeds, onion and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until onions are transparent. Without separating rolls, slice horizontally. Spread both cut sides evenly with butter mixture. Fill evenly with ham and cheese. Wrap each package tightly in foil and refrigerate until ready to bake. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes, or until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted. Cut each roll in half for perfect finger sandwiches
