Gloria’s Mouth-Watering Fruit Cobbler

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can favorite fruit filling (blueberry, peach and cherry are Georgia favorites), 21-ounce


  • Preheat oven to 350°. Melt margarine in deep, oven-safe skillet. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and sugar in mixing bowl. Add milk; mix well. Pour into melted butter in skillet; stir to mix lightly. Add fruit filling; mix lightly. Bake 20 to 35 minutes until edges and top are golden brown.
