Garlic Shrimp Pasta with a Kick

  • 1 package tri-color pasta 12-ounce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 to 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons Tony Chachere's or crushed red pepper
  • 1 pound cooked and peeled medium shrimp
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Cook pasta in boiling water with olive oil until al denté; drain.
  • Place butter and garlic in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high for 45 seconds or until melted.
  • Add hot seasoning; stir.
  • In serving dish, combine pasta, shrimp, butter mixture and tomatoes; toss to combine.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
