French-Fried Sweet Potatoes

  • 3 to 4 sweet potatoes
  • Oil for frying
  • salt


  • Wash sweet potatoes, cut into thin, French-fry-style sticks and dry with paper towels. (Do not cut too thick.)
  • Fry in hot oil 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
  • Sprinkle with salt and serve hot.
  • You can also sprinkle with brown sugar, Cajun seasoning or other desired spices.
