Situated in one of the fastest growing regions in the country, beautiful Bentonville, Arkansas is in the midst
of a great transformation. Long known as the home of Walmart Stores, Inc., Bentonville has boomed
in population, amenities, and attractions over the last several years. A cultural revitalization of parks,
public gardens, museums, and restaurants is underway driven by Crystal Bridges Museum of American
Art. The highly anticipated Crystal Bridges Museum hosts its grand opening on November 11, 2011. The
120-acre museum park connects to downtown Bentonville where after exploring the museum’s galleries,
travelers can dine in one of the town’s delicious bistros or sidewalk cafes. While downtown, visitors
will not want to miss the Walmart Visitor’s Center which includes interactive, hands-on displays and
unique exhibits detailing the history of Walmart and the Walton family. After the downtown experience,
venture to the west part of Bentonville to discover the Museum of Native American History. Touted as
having one of the most comprehensive collections of Native American artifacts, this museum is a must see.
Come and explore all that Bentonville has to offer!
