Cotton Candy Cake
 

1 white cake mix plus ingredients to prepare per directions
1 cup Cotton Candy-Flavored Snow Cone Flavoring, divided
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoons milk, approximate
Pink food coloring, optional

 

Prepare cake according to directions on box; mix in 1/2 cup snow cone flavoring before baking per directions. Cool. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add remaining 1/2 cup Snow Cone Flavoring and beat until fluffy. Add additional powdered sugar and/or milk to reach spreading consistency. Mix in pink (or red) food coloring for a brighter color, if desired.

NOTE: This is a simple recipe that produces a delicious cake that everyone – even the adults – will enjoy.
