Southern Pecan Pie
 

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup light or dark corn syrup
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups pecans
1 unbaked, still frozen deep-dish pie crust

 
Beat eggs with fork in medium bowl and add in sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Mix well then stir in pecans. Pour pecan filling into pie crust and bake on a cookie sheet in a 350-degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes. Center should be firm. Allow to cool before cutting.
