Garlic Shrimp Pasta
with a Kick
 

1 (12-ounce) package tri-color pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons butter
3 to 5 cloves garlic, minced
1 to 2 tablespoons Tony Chachere's (or crushed red pepper)
1 pound cooked and peeled medium shrimp
2 tomatoes, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

 
Cook pasta in boiling water with olive oil until al denté; drain. Place butter and garlic in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high for 45 seconds or until melted. Add hot seasoning; stir. In serving dish, combine pasta, shrimp, butter mixture and tomatoes; toss to combine. Salt and pepper to taste. Serves 8.
