Beef Stroganoff
 

1 pound round steak, 3/4-inch pieces
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
Dash seasoned salt
Dash pepper or seasoned pepper
2 1/2 cups chopped onion
3/4 cup diced green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pound fresh mushrooms or 1 (4-ounce) can
1 (10-ounce) can condensed consomme or 2 bouillon cubes, dissolved
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Dash hot pepper sauce, optional
1 cup light sour cream
Parsley
Cooked wide noodles

 
Combine flour and seasonings; roll meat in mixture. Put in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, except sour cream, parsley, and noodles, in order given. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. About 30 minutes before serving, add sour cream and stir. Cover and cook another 30 minutes. Serve over noodles and garnish with parsley. Serves 4.
